SPECIAL VOLUNTEERING

STUDENTS:

We just love when kids help kids! The Closet provides regular opportunities for students to give back to their community and earn service credit hours. Although students can't volunteer when the Closet is open for shoppers, we welcome them to come in during special events which are posted on our Facebook page. Sign ups are required and numbers are limited. Some helpful hints:

High school students are welcome without supervision (middle schoolers and younger should be accompanied by an adult unless permission has been given by the Volunteer Coordinator.
Special needs students, middle schoolers and younger are welcome with adult supervision. Please check our Facebook page for a description of each volunteer night to ensure activities are age/level appropriate.

GROUPS:

You know the saying, many hands make light work and we adore our groups! Whether you're a formal service organization or a group of friends that just want to help, we can use your assistance. If you have a large group, a group of students or your schedule does not permit you to volunteer during our normal hours of operation, please contact us to set up a special time for you.
